OSHA Changes & Safety Culture

September 27, 2016

Employers need be prepared for potentially costly encounters with OSHA. New OSHA penalties took effect August 2, 2016. Fines have increased on average 80%, which OSHA hopes will encourage many employers to dedicate resources for safer work environments.

Our approach at RRA is to help our clients identify potential or existing safety hazards, pin-point areas of concern and to find solutions for safety training and education. We achieve this through partnering with our insurance carriers and working through our in-house risk services team lead by Darren Cherek, Loss Control Manager. Darren is known for helping companies create effective Risk Reduction Plans.
