Can I name more than one beneficiary for my Life Insurance policy? Yes. Most applications ask you to name a primary and a contingent beneficiary. It is important that you name at least one if not two beneficiaries as the proceeds of the policy will be paid to your estate if none are named. If there isn’t a beneficiary named, the insurer is forced to place the proceeds in your estate which are then tied up until the estate is settled.

When purchasing Life Insurance, am I required to have a physical? Most individual Life Insurance carriers do require that a physical be performed for certain amounts of insurance.
