Service Day 2023 – UNITY

Community Service Day at Robertson Ryan Employees

At Robertson Ryan, part of our purpose is serving our community and helping people. It is always a privilege to bring this purpose to life each year through or annual Community Service Day. 2023 marks our 6th annual Community Service Day and our theme was UNITY.

2023 Service Day Stats:

  • 230+ volunteers
  • 19 states
  • 41 non-profits benefited
  • 870+ service hours of volunteer work

Volunteer days like this are crucial in fostering a sense of UNITY, empathy and social responsibility within our communities. They not only provide valuable assistance to the nonprofit organizations we helped, but also inspire others to get involved and make a difference.

Our annual ‘CommUNITY’ Service Day this year had a significant impact on the lives of many individuals and the organizations they serve. At Robertson Ryan, we value making a difference and thank our team for their personal dedication to our commUNITY.

Hunger Task Force – The Farm:  The team started their day harvesting over 7,000 romaine lettuce then switched the ‘transplanter’ and rode behind a John Deere tractor on a 4 person delivery system. They were able to get about 5,000 cabbage seedlings planted.

Lapham Peak: Brush and grounds clean-up in Kettle Moraine’s State Forest was grueling, but very rewarding work with our crew of enthusiastic volunteers!

Wisconsin Independent Learning College: Led by the Maloney Team, the group assisted with outdoor landscaping, planted flowers, mowed and pulled weeds.

Elmbrook Humane Society: We assisted outside with their outdoor landscaping, including laying woodchips.

Burlington Parks Cleanup: Both of our Mangold and Weis Burlington offices cleaned up a nearby outdoor park.

Keep Kenosha Beautiful: Our Kenosha office headed to the beach at Simmons Island and picked up garbage.

Harrington State Park: Our Mequon office cleaned up the beach, planted seedlings and helped with park landscaping and cleanup.

Snuffle Mats & Balls for Dogs: Several of our offices and remote team members worked in UNITY to make snuffle balls and mats for animals in their local shelters.
