We are happy to share AdvisorNet Property & Casualty, LLC has joined Robertson Ryan & Associates as an affiliate earlier in September.
AdvisorNet Property & Casualty was formed in 2008 with 3 people and has grown to 19 team members. They have a 35 state footprint with the focus being in the Midwest. With their addition, Robertson Ryan now has a presence in Minneapolis, Sheboygan and Green Bay. Dan Anderson and Dave Burkart are the agency Principals. AdvisorNet Property & Casualty will continue to operate under their name/brand as an affiliate of Robertson Ryan & Associates.

Dan first joined AdvisorNet in 1997, spending 6 years doing support work and sales in the AdvisorNet Benefits department. Dan then helped create a property & casualty partnership between AdvisorNet Financial and Cox Insurance Associates of St. Paul, joining the latter in 2004, and opening an office at AdvisorNet Financial’s downtown Minneapolis location a short time later to be an on-site resource for AdvisorNet’s financial advisors and their clients. In 2008 he helped form and became a partner in AdvisorNet Property & Casualty where he continues to focus on giving risk-management advice designed to help financial planners and other professionals efficiently protect their clients’ assets. Dan lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Michelle, and three children.
Dave Burkart

Dave began his insurance career as a claim adjuster for Milwaukee (now Kemper) Insurance and was an owner of Burkart-Heisdorf Insurance Agency in Sheboygan, WI. In 2008 he co-founded and became a partner in AdvisorNet Property & Casualty where he manages the commercial insurance division. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designations. Dave and his wife Hayley, a public-school teen parenting educator, have four grown children and live in Sheboygan. Dave is a volunteer at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts and a member of Elks Lodge 299 but his real passion is teaching his three grandchildren to love fishing, Wisconsin sports, and Star Wars as much as he does.
