The best part of being an Insurance Professional is providing the best service we can for our clients so they continue to stay with the agency and appreciate what we do for them. Insurance is not tangible, so it is not fun to buy, like new shoes, clothes or recreation equipment. This is why it is important for the agents/CSR to have a good relationship with the client and prove we can give them the service they would expect.
WHAT DOES EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE LOOK LIKE TO YOU:
Be a good listener and stay positive in conversations the client. Reporting and following up on claims in a timely manner. Call back in a timely manner. If you don’t have the answer, at least let them know the question or issue is being worked on.
DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL APPROACH TO INSURANCE:
Be kind! To often in today’s world people get hostile and argumentative. I think being kind and listening to their concerns help to calm the situation.
