Tom Cummings is a seasoned insurance professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry, specializing in Commercial Lines. He began his journey in insurance by working part-time in high school at his family’s agency and transitioned into a full-time marketing role after college, eventually becoming a Producer. Tom is known for his dedication to helping clients grow and succeed, valuing the opportunity to play a meaningful role in their business journey.

Tom’s expertise extends to a range of industries, with a particular focus on the educational sector. As the founder of the Preferred School Group (PSG), based in the Northern Illinois suburbs, he offers an alternative to traditional insurance cooperatives, providing cost-effective insurance solutions tailored to public school districts.

A Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS), Tom’s favorite coverage to work with is the Business Owner Policy (BOP) for its comprehensive and efficient design, which aligns well with the needs of diverse businesses. For Tom, the most rewarding aspect of his career is meeting clients across various industries and crafting insurance solutions to fit their specific needs.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys staying active through soccer and golf, and he values quality time with his family. His commitment to both his clients and personal passions makes him a trusted partner and well-rounded professional in the insurance industry.
