Todd James

Todd James, CIC

Senior Vice President

Todd James, a Milwaukee native and sixth-generation insurance professional, has more than 35 years of experience in the industry. After graduating from DePauw University with a degree in psychology, Todd began his insurance career in London at Lloyd’s of London with C.T. Bowering Ltd., a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies. He later held underwriting roles with Aetna Life and Casualty and Chubb Insurance Group before becoming a shareholder and CEO of Fitzgerald, Clayton, James & Kasten, Inc.

In 2011, Todd and FCJK joined Robertson Ryan & Associates, where he continues to specialize in Commercial Property and Casualty insurance. Todd splits his time between Milwaukee and Scottsdale, Arizona, serving clients in both locations.

Outside of work, Todd enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending time with his family. He’s also passionate about fly-fishing, golf, tennis, hiking, and supporting local charities including Prevent Blindness of Wisconsin, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, and the Wisconsin Humane Society.
