My former boss, Tami Renollet. She took a chance on me and believed I could be a good agent. I learned from her that being a good agent isn’t necessarily being an insurance guru, but rather the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
THE BEST PART OF BEING AN INSURANCE PROFESSIONAL:
The interaction with people who are looking to you for guidance. Being able to provide the guidance they need to find the appropriate coverages for their situation.
WHAT DOES EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE LOOK LIKE TO YOU:
Putting yourself in the shoes of the customer. Try to understand where they are coming from so as to be able to reply with kindness and empathy.
FAVORITE INSURANCE COVERAGE:
Extended Replacement Cost, it is one of those coverages that I usually include in a policy without asking because for the money it is worth it. If something were to happen, the insured is so glad you added it!
