D.J.’s journey in the insurance industry is deeply rooted in family legacy and a commitment to service. At the age of 25, he joined his father in the family business, which had been thriving since its founding in 1973. Under his father’s mentorship, D.J. was instilled with invaluable lessons in self-teaching and salesmanship, shaping the foundation of his career.

For D.J., the most gratifying aspect of being an insurance professional lies in the relationships forged with clients over time. He finds fulfillment in serving customers and assisting them as their needs evolve, fostering enduring connections that transcend mere transactions.

Distinguished by his approach to insurance, D.J. emphasizes the importance of active listening. By truly understanding the specific concerns and objectives of each client, he is able to tailor solutions that address their unique needs effectively.

Beyond his professional endeavors, D.J. is a dedicated philanthropist and community leader. In 2011, he founded the Titus Trail Relay, a charitable event that raised an impressive $750,000 between 2011 and 2022. The event was born out of a personal tragedy when D.J. lost his beloved dog, sparking a community-wide effort to support a cause close to his heart. Additionally, D.J. serves on the board of Just One More Ministry, a food rescue charity dedicated to alleviating hunger in the community.
