Jän Simon

Agent & Vice President

Jän Simon, originally from Washington State, made his way to Arizona in 1999 and settled in Gilbert in 2003. With a passion for community involvement, Jän officially started his active engagement with the Gilbert Community in 2014 when he joined the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce. He quickly delved into the Public Policy committee, paving the way for significant contributions to the town.

Jän is the Owner of Foundation Insurance Services, located in the heart of Gilbert’s Heritage District, specializing in Property & Casualty Insurance for Businesses. His leadership and dedication are evident in his multiple roles within the community. He is a past board member of the Chamber Board of Directors, the Chamber Executive Board, and served as Chair of the Gilbert Leadership Board. Jän currently serves on the Board of Directors for Gilbert Talks. In 2019, his commitment to community service took a new turn when he was appointed to the Planning Commission, where he still serves and spent two years serving as the Commission’s Chair.

In his personal life, Jän enjoys woodworking, a hobby that allows him to express creativity and craftsmanship. He also has a tradition of taking annual trips to Disneyland, where he indulges in collecting and trading pins and delights in the simple joy of people-watching.
