Jason graduated with a marketing degree in 1992 from Drake University and worked in several businesses before launching his career in the insurance industry. Jason started as owner of an Allstate Insurance agency for over 14 years.  Driven by a commitment to offer more customized and flexible options, he transitioned to a career as an independent broker with Carlson, Mikuzis & Taylor.

Born and raised in Chicago, Jason’s affinity for sports was ignited at a young age. An avid fan of basketball, football, and baseball, he found his love for the game mirrored in his professional life—strategic, dynamic, and driven by a desire to excel. This passion for sports seamlessly translates into his approach as an insurance broker, where he employs the same energy and enthusiasm to craft tailored insurance solutions for his clients.

Jason’s expertise allows him to better align his services with the specific needs of his clients, providing them a broader range of choices and more individualized attention. His deep understanding of the insurance industry, combined with his client-centric approach, has earned him a reputation for reliability and excellence.

Jason and his wife, Katya, reside in Buffalo Grove where they enjoy spending time with their son and daughter who live in Chicago and their youngest daughter who attends the University of Illinois.  Jason is an avid pickleball player and enjoys traveling with his family. He also has a keen interest in collecting classic Air Jordan shoes, often exploring new releases and trends. These personal interests reflect his dynamic and energetic approach to life, enriching his professional interactions with a genuine and approachable demeanor.
