HOW DID YOU END UP IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY:
The short answer is my other business customers all needed insurance! I started a roadside assistance company in 2006 and launched a national brand called MrQuickPick® USA shortly thereafter. Similar to a franchise, I license the brand to small business owners and help them market and grow their own roadside assistance companies. One of our biggest challenges has always been finding insurance agents across the country to provide the correct coverages required to run their businesses. I finally decided to get licensed and ensure my clients would get exactly what they needed, nothing more and nothing less. Researching “satisfied customers” in this roadside industry led me to Robertson Ryan.
THE BEST PART OF BEING AN INSURANCE PROFESSIONAL:
Ensuring my clients have the coverages required for their specific business needs to avoid expensive mistakes. I recently had an associate show me his policy only to realize he was paying (a lot) for something he didn’t even need because he didn’t understand the terminology when he originally requested the coverage. He’s now my newest client.
