Kristen Chaudoir
Senior Account Manager | Personal Lines
Kristen began her journey in the insurance industry in 2012, starting as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Walston Insurance Associates. In 2015, she joined Robertson Ryan Insurance, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a passion for helping clients.
Growing up, Kristen’s mom was a licensed agent working at Walston Insurance as a CSR, so she was familiar with the industry from a young age. The agency was small, and she knew Mike Walston, the owner, very well. After finishing college at UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Leadership, Kristen initially worked as a Program Coordinator for a day service for kids with disabilities, which she loved. However, when a position at Walston Insurance opened up again a few years later, Mike reached out to her. She was ready for a change, so she applied, got her license, and has been working in insurance ever since.
Mike Walston, her former boss and the owner of the agency where she started, has been the biggest influence on Kristen’s career. He trained her himself and always stressed the importance of building meaningful relationships with customers and agency partners and taught her to never take no for an answer.
Kristen loves being able to help people, whether it’s guiding them through a difficult time by assisting with a claim, helping to place coverage on a risk they’ve been struggling with, or simply finding them a great deal on their premium. To her, exceptional customer service means treating customers how she’d like to be treated. It’s about making sure they feel seen and heard, helping them understand their coverage, and gaining a better knowledge of the insurance industry.
Kristen focuses mostly on personal lines, and due to her location, she writes a good amount of policies for small farms and boats/charter fishermen. She was a member of the dance team in high school and college, is a part-time photographer, and loves true crime documentaries. She lives in Kewaunee, WI with her husband David, their two kids Paxton and Everly, and their Boston Terrier, Lola. And of course, her favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers.
