Maggie Schlicht brings nearly three decades of insurance experience to her role at Robertson Ryan Insurance. A third-generation insurance agent, Maggie began her career in 1996, taking her first steps into the industry at her father’s agency before gaining valuable experience at a successful family-run firm in Boston. There, she developed her skills working with a diverse clientele including professional athletes and deepened her understanding of the industry’s intricacies.

Returning to her hometown of Viroqua, Wisconsin, Maggie worked as a CSR at Robertson Ryan’s La Crosse office before joining her family business, Schlicht Insurance, as an agent. In 2025, she rejoined Robertson Ryan, drawn back by the leadership and mentorship she admired early in her career.

Maggie specializes in small business insurance, particularly in the retail, service, and hospitality sectors, serving a community known for its vibrant arts and entrepreneurial spirit. She is especially passionate about life insurance, an often-overlooked but essential part of a well-rounded portfolio, particularly for fellow parents navigating busy family lives.

Outside the office, Maggie is actively involved with the Vernon Women’s Alliance, her local church, and Viroqua’s Wild West Days. She and her fiancé Danny enjoy RV camping, attending NASCAR races, and running their horse tack business, Fradette Saddlery. Maggie is also a proud mom, aunt, and pet parent to a Corgi named Leia and two birds, Artoo and Lando.
