Since joining the firm in 2016, Matt has dedicated his career to helping restaurant owners protect their operations with insurance programs tailored to the unique risks of the food and hospitality sector.

From independent restaurants and bars to multi-location groups and franchised operations, Matt understands the daily challenges restaurant owners face – including liability exposures, property protection, employee safety, and business interruption. His hands-on approach ensures each client receives practical, cost-effective coverage that supports long-term success.

Before his role at Robertson Ryan, Matt spent five years as a commercial underwriter at Liberty Mutual, gaining valuable insight into risk analysis and carrier-side decision-making. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Marquette University, further grounding his insurance strategies in strong financial understanding.
