Big Heart, Big Donations – 2025 Annual Service Day

9th Annual Service Day Banner Showing People Volunteering

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s important to pause and give back to the communities that support us.

This week, Robertson Ryan hosted our 9th Annual Community Service Day—an idea that began as the dream of a few and has grown into a powerful movement embraced by many.

At Robertson Ryan, giving back is more than an initiative, it’s part of who we are. Our purpose extends beyond insurance, rooted in supporting and strengthening the communities we’re proud to serve. Each year, our Service Day brings that purpose to life as teams across the country unite to make a lasting impact.

2025 Service Day by the Numbers:
• 176+ volunteers
• 10 states represented
• 25 nonprofits served
• 704+ volunteer hours contributed

Volunteer days like these foster empathy, teamwork, and a shared sense of purpose. They not only provide vital support to nonprofits, but also create lasting connections and inspire others to get involved.

We’re incredibly proud of what our teams accomplished and deeply grateful to every volunteer who gave their time and heart to make a difference. Thank you to all our Annual Sponsors, especially our Titanium Sponsor, Integrity / Grange Insurance, for your partnership and hands-on support during our volunteer events.

Here’s a look at some of the incredible work our teams accomplished across the country:

  • Alicia’s Place – Volunteers spent the day assisting elderly and disabled adults with their daily activities by playing games, painting pumpkins, and enjoying visits from two puppies. The activities brought lots of smiles and gave the owner, time to catch up on work. Overall, it was a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
  • Brandy Lake Disc – A park clean-up helped refresh this local green space.
  • Burlington Little League – Our team helped maintain and clean the ballpark through landscaping and painting.
  • Blueberry Park P-Patch – Volunteers worked at this year-round, organic-only community garden, which is entirely run by volunteers.
  • Chattanooga Area Food Bank – Our team stocked shelves, unloaded and sorted food, bagged produce, and helped clean up at this hands-on distribution center.
  • Community Cooperative – The team made Stuffing Kits for the upcoming giving holiday.
  • Dyslexia Services of Baldwin County – Volunteers supported various tasks to assist the school for children with dyslexia.
  • Elmbrook Humane Society – Volunteers did laundry and dishwashing for the animals, made enrichment toys, cleaned outdoor areas for winter, and updated signage for Wagfest 2026.
  • Greenfield Park – Park clean-up efforts helped prepare the space for the season.
  • Harrington State Park – Volunteers cleaned the park and beach.
  • Home of the Sparrow – Volunteers completed fall landscaping for this homeless shelter.
  • Hunger Task Force – Our team packed 282 meal kits for senior citizens in Milwaukee and surrounding communities.
  • Lapham Peak – Volunteers cleared trail areas and harvested prairie flower seeds.
  • MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary – Volunteers helped sort donated items.
  • Norrisville Volunteer Fire Company – Volunteers assisted with station maintenance, including equipment washing, cleaning, and inventory.
  • Mobile Meals La Crosse – Volunteers packed meals for those in need.
  • Racine North Beach – A beach clean-up helped restore this lakeside area.
  • Schlitz Audubon Nature Center – Volunteers harvested grass seeds for replanting across the grounds.
  • Snuffle Mats and Balls – Volunteers made enrichment toys for animal shelters in their communities.
  • Support the Troops – Our team packed 70 care packages for deployed service members around the world.
  • Wisconsin Independent Learning College – Volunteers spruced up the outdoor area.
