Darren joined Robertson Ryan in 2011, bringing over 23 years of experience in insurance and a background in private industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion & Wellness with a focus on Safety from UW-Stevens Point. Darren is dedicated to helping clients with all aspects of risk management, including safety planning, OSHA compliance, and fleet safety, bridging the efforts of carriers and clients for optimal risk control.
Darren’s day-to-day responsibilities in loss prevention include:
- Collaborating with clients on risk reduction strategies for major loss sources
- Assisting in the formation and training of safety teams
- Conducting hazard identification and ergonomic assessments in the workplace
- Supporting OSHA compliance efforts, including conducting mock OSHA inspections
- Formalizing accident investigation processes and establishing return-to-work programs
